falling forever,
with arms akimbo
and eyes wide open.

watching the future
coming on at a thousand
blurred miles per second.

falling forever,
teeth gritted, stomach knotted,
and mouth wide open.

feeling the air thick
in my hair at a thousand
blurred miles per second.

falling forever,
unable to catch myself
in arms wide open.

watching the future
killing me at a thousand
blurred miles per second.

falling forever,
wishing I could fall faster,
crack me wide open.

at least it'd be done,
stop thinking at a thousand
blurred miles per second.

falling forever,
and only looking for peace,
some lasting closure.
